About Miles

Miles represents individuals in civil litigation matters. Before practicing law, he spent years involved in theater and film as an actor and director. That background shaped his ability to tell a clear and compelling story in the courtroom.

Originally from Lexington, Miles earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. After graduation, he clerked for Judge Herman G. Walker of the Anchorage Superior Court in Alaska. He later returned to Lexington to be closer to family and focus on civil litigation.

Miles previously served as a law clerk with the firm during law school and is proud to return as an attorney.

Outside of the legal world, Miles enjoys directing, writing scripts, serving at his Church, and exploring his interest in the Ancient Near East. He finds solace in spending time with his loved ones, cheering loudly at UK football games, and relaxing with his wife Caitlin, son Graham, their dog, and three cats.

Education

In law school, Miles founded and served as president of the Criminal Law Society and later served as president of Street Law. He was a member of the Trial Advocacy and Moot Court boards and received awards for best oral argument and pro bono service. He also earned the highest grade (CALI) in Intellectual Property.
